I was nervous about tapping into a new creative community when I moved back to the Midlands. But I needn’t have worried because creative people can be found in all corners of our isle.

I was delighted to be commissioned by Alice to create some portraits of her in her workshop in the beautiful town of Wirksworth, a stones throw from my home in Matlock. It was fascinating to see Alice making the beautiful light shades she is famous for.
