Travel: Hotel Peter & Paul, New Orleans.

The other day I worked out that it almost 6 months ago that I was in New Orleans for a commission - working around the US I was commissioned to capture the interiors of a number of hotels as part of an editorial project with Roadbook and Hotels.com.

All of the hotels were so different and one of those that will forever be etched on my mind is Peter & Paul. It’s the hotel we spent the most time in during the trip and I was there for it.

Peter & Paul is a converted church, rectory, schoolhouse and convent located in the Marigny neighbourhood of New Orleans. Kitted out with the trendy Elysian bar, an epic co working room for guests and holding yoga classes in the impressive church room it’s a feast for the senses.

Since we shot this hotel I’ve spotted it on Queer Eye, various adverts and holding multiple celebrity weddings. It’s the place to be.
